
It is hot hot hot out there!! With 30+ degree weather the last thing you want to do us heat up the kitchen or eat a heavy meal. This flavor and protein packed salad will be sure to satisfy your hunger without making you bloat.
This salad is a favorite that I would pick at a restaurant but have yet to make myself at home. With 5 ingredients this salad is quick and easy to make.
Black and Blue Steak Salad

Ingredients
- 1 head of romaine lettuce (or whatever lettuce is to your liking)
- 1 large tomato (chopped)
- ½ cucumber (diced)
- 1 avocado (chopped)
- 2 green onions (diced)
- 2 rib steak (cut in ⅓ inch pieces length wise)
- Blue cheese dressing (I used ranch for this salad bc I'm pregnant and can't eat soft cheese)
Instructions
- Wash and chop up all your salad ingredients into a big bowl. Mix.
- Cook your steak on the BBQ or whichever way you prefer. Let cool 5-10 minutes before cutting and adding to the salad.
Notes
I prefer to dish out the salad on the plate then add the steak afterward. It is easier to put in the fridge after too if you have leftovers.
