Spicy Garlic and Lime Shrimp with Rice

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ pound shrimp
  • 1 garlic clove minced (really more the better)
  • 1 lime (or a large squirt of lime juice)
  • ½ tsp salt & pepper
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper & paprika
  • ½ tsp parsley flakes & thyme
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  1. Add the olive to a frying pan along with the garlic. When browned, add the shrimp and coat with lime juice. Sprinkle with seasoning.
  2. Saute for 5-8 minutes until the shrimp browns. If the pan is starting to get dry, add a little more lime juice or oil to avoid the shrimp from sticking to the pan.
